Thanks for the info! I know it's weird that these manuals would be different in this respect, but I guess it doesn't really matter which way the darn thing is turned. I'll probably go with the factory manual on this procedure, though I like Clymer's book a bit better overall for the extra pictures and instructions they offer. In having both manuals, there's not too much information left out for maintenance and such. They seem to balance each other well, glad I bought them both.
Do you do a lot of your own work on your bike ?
